Overview

The MTF-VB is a MEMS-based ultra-compact tunable filter with adjustable wavelength and bandwidth.
With a tunable central wavelength range of approximately 40 nm, and 3 dB bandwidth adjustment from 200 GHz to 700 GHz, it supports various optical signals from 400 Gb/s to 1.2 Tb/s (QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM, etc.), and effectively removes ASE noise by filtering at the optimal band. It supports SFF (Small Form Factor) standard optical transceivers such as QSFP-DD and CFP2-DCO, and achieves the smallest size class in the industry at 9 × 5.5 × 3.5 mm. It is an ideal solution for next-generation communications equipment that requires high-density mounting and low power consumption.

  • Compact size

It offers many advantages, including high-density mounting, low power consumption, and improved design freedom.

  • Flexible transmission rates

It can flexibly accommodate multiple transmission speeds and is adaptable to future changes in standards.

  • Evaluation board available (sold separately)

A dedicated board enables rapid development and evaluation, facilitating verification prior to implementation.

  • RoHS-compliant

It is environmentally friendly, RoHS-compliant, limits the use of harmful substances, and supports sustainable product creation.
